LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: LIC has started a special scheme for women. The name of this scheme is Bima Sakhi Yojana. Women get seven thousand rupees under this scheme. Know the complete details.

The Indian government keeps making many efforts to promote women empowerment in the country. The government runs many schemes for this. These include schemes to increase women’s participation in society and to help them stand on their own feet.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) also runs many types of schemes especially for women. By investing in these schemes, women not only secure their future but also earn profits.

But do you know that LIC has started a special scheme for women. The name of this scheme is Bima Sakhi Yojana. The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi launched it in Haryana on 9 December 2024.

Through this scheme, LIC trains women from rural areas and prepares them as insurance agents. The aim of the scheme is to make women financially capable and self-reliant.

Let us tell you that through this scheme, women are trained for 3 years. In which in the first year they are given Rs 7000 every month. In the second year they are given Rs 6000 every month. And in the third year they are given a stipend of Rs 500 every month.

That means women get financial assistance of more than 2 lakh rupees in 3 years. Apart from this stipend, women can also earn a commission of up to Rs 48000 in the first year by selling the policy.

After completion of the training, she is also given a Bima Sakhi certificate and LIC agent code. After which she officially starts working as an insurance agent. Women who want to take advantage of this scheme can apply for it online by visiting the LIC website.
