This plan is designed to give customers greater control over their health coverage. The product allows policyholders to choose from over 50 coverage options. SBI General Insurance launched this product following the GST rate changes last month.

According to information provided by the company, SBI General Insurance Health Alpha is based on the principle of “Your Health, Your Cover, Your Choice.” This product allows customers to customize a health plan based on their lifestyle and healthcare needs.
What is the minimum sum insured?
Under this plan, customers can insure from Rs 5 lakh to an unlimited amount. Policyholders can choose the long-term insurance option for up to five years. This will provide them with special discounts and reduce the impact of inflation.
These people can get insurance
The minimum age required to join this plan is 18 years, but there is no upper age limit. This means anyone aged 18 years or older can subscribe to this plan. The age limit for children is 91 days to 25 years.
Bonus for No Claim
This is an add-on cover that offers a bonus of up to 10 times the annual sum assured if no claims are made under the policy. The claim amount will be paid subject to the policy’s terms and conditions. Additionally, a single claim over and above the basic sum assured can be made once during the policy’s lifecycle to cover hospitalization expenses.
