7th Pay Commission : The fun of government employees, the government has increased the DA, know how much the money will increase?

now the Bihar cabinet has taken a big decision in the interest of the employees. Apart from this, it was decided by the cabinet that a commission will be constituted for the recruitment of teachers in government schools of the state government.

Dearness Allowance increased from 38 to 42 percent

In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, it was decided that the dearness allowance (DA Hike) of state employees and pensioners would be increased by 4 percent. After this increase, the dearness allowance of the employees has increased from 38 percent to 42 percent.

Employees will get the benefit of increased DEC from January 1, 2023. The pensioners of the state government will also get the benefit of the increase in dearness allowance. Employees will get three months DA along with April salary.

After this increase, there has been an increase of 4 percent in DA. For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 20,000, earlier he would have been getting dearness allowance of Rs 7,600 at the rate of 38 percent. Now after 4 percent increase, this DA has become 42 percent i.e. Rs.8400. That is, after increasing the DA, the salary of the employees increased by Rs 800 per month (Rs 9600 annually).

from this, about the change in the recruitment process of teachers, Additional Chief Secretary S. Siddharth told that earlier, teachers were recruited at the Panchayat, Block and District level. Under the new rule, the government will appoint teachers through a commission.

The senior officer of the Education Department said that on the basis of the changed rules, now teachers from primary to senior secondary level will be appointed on the basis of the new system.

Let us tell you that in the coming time, one and a half lakh teachers are to be appointed in Bihar. Under the new rule, there will be no appointments on contract basis. He said that teachers appointed on contract can become regular teachers by passing the entrance examination conducted by the commission.
