SBI UPI Money Transfer:  The trend of digital transactions has increased rapidly. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is the most popular medium used by people for making payments. While using UPI, users also face problems many times.

One problem that comes up the most is that money is deducted from the account even if the UPI transaction fails on making UAPI payment. This problem also occurs with State Bank of India (SBI) customers. If your transaction also fails while making SBI UPI payment (BHIM SBI UPI), then do not panic. You can get your money back by complaining in 2 ways.

Customers can do UPI transactions with the YONO Lite app (YONO LITE SBI App). SBI YONO app allows you to transfer funds without registering the person to whom you want to send the money. If you are sending money using the virtual ID of the beneficiary, then the beneficiary should mandatorily be registered with UPI. SBI says that if the amount of failed transaction is not automatically refunded within 48 hours, then the customer can get the money by complaining in 2 ways.

How to complain

All UPI based apps have an option to report a dispute for the last status of the payment made. This option is also given in SBI YONO LITE app. If your amount is not refunded then you can use this to file a complaint. For this you have to go to the ‘Payment History’ of the app. Then you have to select the transaction which has failed. Then submit your complaint by selecting ‘Raise Dispute’.

This is the second way,

after making a complaint related to payment in the app, you can also send the details of the transaction. You have to mail your details to support.upi@sbi.co.in. You need to send the date of payment, amount and 12 digit transaction reference number. You can send the RRN ie Retrieval Reference Number for refund related issues.
