Vehicle insurance: Car-Bike insurance rules are changing, if not insured then money will be deducted from Fastag

Vehicle insurance: Soon the government is going to change the rules related to it. According to the new rule, if you are caught driving a vehicle that is not insured, then you may have to buy insurance immediately. For this, the insurance amount will be deducted from the fastag.

Car and Bike Insurance Policy: The first rule while driving any vehicle on the road is that the vehicle must be insured. If the car or bike you are driving is not insured, then your challan can be deducted. But soon the government is going to change the rules related to it. According to the new rule, if you are caught driving a vehicle that is not insured, then you may have to buy insurance immediately. For this, the insurance amount will be deducted from the fastag.

In fact, the Ministry of Transport is preparing for major changes to crack down on uninsured vehicles. According to statistics, about 50 percent of vehicles in India are being used without insurance. Such vehicles also become victims of accidents and due to lack of insurance, the victim does not get the news of treatment. This is the reason why it is mandatory for all vehicles to have at least third party insurance.

According to the information, the government is making such a system in which the police and transport department officials will immediately get third party insurance for the vehicle caught without insurance with the help of a device. For this, the help of the vehicle app of the Ministry of Road and Highways will be taken and complete information about the caught vehicle will be extracted. If the vehicle is not insured, then immediately the vehicle owner will be given the option to buy an insurance policy. There will also be a provision to pay the insurance amount through Fastag.

For this, insurance companies can be brought on the Fastag platform, in which the premium will be deducted from the amount in the Fastag. According to an official of the General Insurance Council, recommendations are being prepared for the implementation of the new rule in the meeting and it will be discussed in the meeting on March 17.
