Income Tax Slab in India: Income tax means if you earn more than the income fixed by the government, then you have to pay a certain part of your income to the government. This money was used in the development of the country. There is also a state in India where people do not have to pay tax. Today we are going to tell you about one such state of the country, where people are not paying tax for years.

This state, which is included in the North-Eastern states of India, has got income tax exemption for its native residents under Section 10(26AAA) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, under which people living here are not allowed to pay any kind of tax on their income. No tax has to be paid.

Let us also tell you that all the northeastern states of India have got the status of special states under Article 371-F. This is the reason why people from other states of the country cannot buy any kind of residential or commercial property here.

The exemption available under the Income Tax Act was earlier available only to a limited number of people. In this state, people who had a special subject certificate, only they got this exemption. However, after the order of the Supreme Court in the year 1989, other people also joined it, after which the number of people taking advantage of it increased to 95 percent. The name of this state is Sikkim.

India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru proposed Sikkim and Bhutan on behalf of India to establish them as their own state on the Himalayan side. In this regard, an agreement was also signed in 1948 and finally in the year 1950, Sikkim came completely to India. At that time its ruler used to be Chogyal. However, 26 April 1975 was the day when Sikkim was completely merged with India.
